For Wiss Emile, the reward for being a real estate agent is the opportunity to help others. He was a police officer and sergeant for the New York City Police Department and served the citizens of NYC for over twenty years. Now retired, he has committed his career focus to connecting people to their homes and delivering the results they deserve.
“I love what New York and Long Island has to offer. There’s no place like it. I also love being a real estate agent and helping my clients feel welcome and heard. I am patient, willing to face all challenges and ready to help my clients understand their options.”
Prior to becoming an agent, Wiss was a property inspector, proudly providing excellent service and conducting surveys for his clients. It was through this world that he met another agent from EXIT Realty Island Elite, who inspired him to visit the office and see what EXIT has to offer.
“I am a people person; I love to listen and support others. I also have excellent negotiation skills due to my background in law enforcement. Everyone that I have met at EXIT has been very supportive of one other, especially when developing their business. The energy at EXIT is positive and genuine, and I have the resources and excellent office support staff whenever I need them. Being an agent also affords me some incredible flexibility, so I can prioritize clients while also spending quality time with my family. “
Wiss’ family is from Haiti, but he was born in Brooklyn and has embraced both cultures. He speaks fluent Haitian-Creole and English values communication and commitment. When not working, he volunteers at the Gordon Heights Fire Department, enjoys playing pool, visiting Urban Air (Trampoline Park) with his wife and children, exploring new restaurants and cuisines in New York and travelling whenever possible.
“I promise to do my due diligence and be an advocate for my clients. I will work hard and passionately to find a home or sells yours.”
